Life for those who
have less is harder and for those who have more tend to not appreciate or see its value. When it comes down to education, I believe
the youth of today takes it for granted.

Revised Bibliography
Patton, Ally. "The Nevada Sagebrush." The Nevada Sagebrush RSS. N.p., 18 Nov. 2008. Web. 12 Apr. 2013.
This is an article written by Ally Patton, a columnist for The Nevada Sagebrush. This article talks about american students taking education for granted. its gives examples of what kids in other countries have to go through to get an education. Ally even used her personal experience to back up her claim. With this piece of information, i am able to back up my argument being that kids do take education for granted..

Good Interview
This interview was an overall good interview, because the interviewer asked questions that allowed Chris to express exactly how he felt about the situation. The questions made him think and respond truthfully. Also, I also think it was a good one because of the fact she included questions that had to do with the who why when what type of questions. Chris used the questions that she asked him to open up and address other points. if the interviewer had asked him yes or no questions, it wouldn't of allowed him to make any explanations.

Someone to watch over me
In the reading someone to watch over me I believe everyone can relate to this story, because everyone in some point of their lifetime have lived, and did things through social network sites. people may not notice that they do, but they really do by sometimes not showing who they really are; or not putting their real name. further into the story I thought she didn't really have friends, because she had to go on peoples pages and look at their locations to see if they came across any other people she knew. if they were her real friends i believe she would be able to pick up the phone and call and text. Social media basically shuts you out of the real world. People become s addicted to the a network and forget the real meaning of socializing and having friends. Being friends with someone on Facebook or twitter that's liking your picture or tweet is not really your "friend"; you just know of them not about them. In my eyes, social media turns friends into being acquaintances

Project Update
So far in my project I have gotten pictures of my friends and family. I also started to organize the way I want my collage to be. I came across a tree background and i decided to use that as the background of my collage. The tree represents my growth, in another words how I grew from my family and friends.
First journal
In the reading High School Secret Life I instantly had a connection with the story, because through out my years in school I always came across people in cliques. I thought it was weird that the girl who had a different lunch from her friends felt like she didnt have friends anymore; I would probably like that they weren't her real friends from the beginning then. When I think of cliques such as these I think of the members as bullies, because they don't accept certain people just because the way they dress or act. I attended a huge high school so cliques were like the main thing. The main clique was between the popular kids vs. the unpopular. They had they own sections during lunch time where other kids couldn't sit if its during their lunch period. if you weren't a part of a clique or popular, then you're not important. Which I believe is wrong.
